‘American Idol’ Runner-up David Archuletta Gets Signed by Management Firm
After 19 Management (the firm representing American Idol finalists) passed on David Archuletta, it’s now being reported that he has signed a management contract with Azoff Management.
The American Idol seventh-season runner-up will be co-managed by Azoff’s Jared Paul — who also currently works with Nick Lachey and The New Kids on the Block, among others – as well as Jeff Archuleta, his controversial father who managed him in his pre-Idol days, Entertainment Weeklyreported Tuesday

American Idol 7 runner-up David Archuleta will be managed by Azoff Management, which Entertainment Weekly reports is “the career-launching (and often sustaining) music powerhouse that counts The Eagles, Christina Aguilera, Neil Diamond, and, most recently, Morrissey among its clients.”
However, David’s former manager—-also known as his father Jeff Archuleta, who’s also known as a pain in the ass although not to his son—will stick around. EW reports that “Jeff Arch

David Archuleta, 16 years old who is best known as the young kid from the hit reality t.v. show American Idol will now try out acting. According to “People Magazine”, Archuleta will be a guest star on Nickelodeon’s t.v. show ICarly.
ICarly episode titled “iRocked the Vote,” Archuleta, plays a contestant on an Idol-style show called America Sings. David gets a huge spike in votes after winning support in an iCarly webcast. This sounds familiar to all of us.
