The Screen Actors Guild announced today the nominations for their annual awards. So yes, it’s actors voting on other actors’ performances. It’s that simple. I guess because of that, even if there is a strike, the awards ceremony, scheduled for January 25th, will go on. If there is a strike, then the awards will probably be used to some degree to explain to the viewing audience…if there is one…why they’re on strike. Good luck.

Brad has been recognised in the best actor category for his role in 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button', while Angelina received a best actress nomination for her part in 'Changeling'.
Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, Anne Hathaway and Melissa Leo will also compete for the prestigious accolade.

Actors Guild has released its list of what matters most in film and
television acting for 2008, and there are only a couple selections that are
slight surprises. More on that in a second.
Doubt took home the most nominations, which
isn't a big shock. After all, it has three supporting roles and one unbelievable
lead performance, and because it's based on a stage play,
