Los Angeles: Lincoln Heights (myFOXla.com) - A man was in custody Friday night after allegedly shooting his girlfriend to death, then turning the gun on himself, police said. The shootings were reported at 8:36 p.m. in the 2400 block of Daly Street, near Pasadena Avenue and Avenue 26, in Lincoln Heights, said Officer Gregory Baek of the Los Angeles Police Department. A woman was found dead this afternoon in the Angeles National Forest, authorities said.
